The owners of this 2021 Volvo CX40 had one of their smart keys stolen but still had their spare second key on hand. After removing the ECU from the car, we were able to put our soldering skills to work and erase the stolen key from the ECU memory whilst maintaining functionality of their second key. Then we introduced a new genuine Volvo smart key to the car, programmed with all the functions of the owner's original key.
