The site on which Richmond Primary School currently stands was originally Brighton Street Primary School, opened in 1874. Due to declining numbers in surrounding schools in the mid 1970's, it was decided that three local primary schools - Brighton Street, Burnley, and Cremorne Street - would combine. The three schools then became known as the one Richmond Primary School... Richmond Primary School provides a supportive and inclusive environment for all students from Foundation to Year 6.
