Clayton Mozingo is CEO of Second Fifty, having founded the company in 2013 to build upon his substantial experience in real estate development, and to satisfy a market need that met with his core values. Mr. Mozingo has been a real estate developer since 2002, when he was tasked with building his father's 8,000 sf medical office building in Lumberton, NC. He later worked as a project director on the 7 million sf Harbor Point project in Stamford, CT, working for both Antares and Building & Land Technology. He has built over 1 million sf of diversified product over his career.
Mr. Mozingo is a graduate of the College of Charleston and received an MBA from the University of Georgia. He is an Eagle Scout and a member of the College of Charleston's Alumni Association, as well as a member of Urban Land Institute and American Seniors Housing Assoc. Jack Ryan serves as the Asset Manager for Second Fifty Communities. Before joining the Second Fifty team, Mr. Ryan worked in the accounting department at Peoplease. He was first introduced to real estate development during college, working over the summer with C Three Investments, a development company in Mount Pleasant, SC. He was tasked with maintaining the grounds and landscape surrounding two commercial shopping centers. Upon graduation, Mr. Ryan worked alongside a general contractor to completely gut and renovate a rental property.
Mr. Ryan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Management with a minor in Accounting from Clemson University, completing many advanced courses that taught him to effectively manage, analyze and interpret key financial documents. Mr. Armstrong serves as the Vice President of Real Estate for Second Fifty Communities. Prior to joining the Second Fifty team Mr. Armstrong was a commercial real estate advisor with Newmark Grubb Knight Frank. While at Newmark he provided a full array of commercial real estate advisory services to clients throughout Westchester County, NY and Fairfield County, CT. As part of the Newmark leasing team, Mr. Armstrong represented 6 million square feet of some of Metro New York's most prestigious landlords including, Amtrust Realty Corporation, Celestial Capital Group, Healthcare Trust of America, Onyx Equities, Ivy Realty, RPW Group, RXR Realty and Simone Development Companies.
Mr. Armstrong earned a bachelor's degree from The Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina. While at The Citadel, Mr. Armstrong was a four-time All-Conference tight end on the football team as well as a pre-season Walter Camp All-American candidate. Mr. Armstrong is a licensed real estate broker in the states of South Carolina, New York, and Connecticut. He and his wife Elizabeth, live in Charleston, SC with their two young children and old dog.
