As an active member of the RPTE (Real Property Trust and Estate) Section of the American Bar Association, Mr. Saltz served on the Supervisory Council and the Community Outreach Committee, which provides supplementary legal education to attorneys who are members of minority bar associations. He currently serves on the Groups and Substantive Committees, the Standing Committee, and as liaison to the Real Estate Financing Group. He was one of the principal organizers and teachers of community outreach courses offered in Chicago. He served as the co-chair of that committee and as a member of an RPPT Task Force seeking to improve the quality and relevance of property courses in law schools. He has served as vice chair, then later co-chair of the Continuing Legal Education Committee of the Real Estate Division of the Section and as chair of various substantive committees and, for two years, as chair of the Leasing Group of the Section...
