SKILLS 4 YOU

Skills 4 You is a pilot project to help address the high unemployment levels within Copeland... Skills 4 You provides a safe environment for individuals to actively engage in a workshop setting. We support individuals who are returning to the labour market or those who are taking their first steps towards employment. We offer practical skills development with a choice of activities and address employment needs, expectations and progression routes. We assist and inspire engagement with the social aspects of life to support mental health and well-being and eventually employment. Using knowledgeable and aware staff with partner providers we enable our learners to identify barriers, acknowledge actual barriers and work towards finding solutions. A number of partner and referral agencies are aware that we support a number of clients with complex issues.
