Laughter Yoga was started in 1995 by Dr. Madan Kataria, a medical doctor, who was writing an article about laughter being the best medicine for what ails us. It came to him that if laughter was so important to our well being why were we not laughing daily. With that in mind, he started a Laughter Club with the sole purpose of laughting daily about anything or nothing. From the humble beginnings of the Laughter Yoga Club that was started in the park in Mumbai India, Laughter Yoga has spread to more than 70 countries. There are currently thousands of clubs throughout the world... Welcome! We offer Laughter Yoga events and training - we are part of Laughter Yoga International.
