Jyoti is trained as professional dancer in Kathak and Bharatnatyam, has learnt many other Indian dance forms including the ‘Bollywood' dance. Her formal exposure and training in western and Latin American dance styles from US & UK, has helped in her professional endeavors. She is an avid art lover and has taken lessons in playing African drums: Djembe, painting, music, and many other expressive arts. She has conducted workshops in ‘physical theatre' to help the participants express themselves, and often times distress. Jyoti uses ‘Sufi', ‘Dance', ‘Theatre', ‘Meditation', etc. as the means of relaxation and for setting the rhythm of life..
