I am currently a (very) mature Fine Art student at Bath Spa University, having decided that I wanted to return to learning after a number of years teaching. The motivation for this change is wanting to do something that is challenging for me, and after many years as a freelance graphic designer, I wanted to do something different, something that would further my interests in sculpture and interactive art... My current work is around the themes of interactive devices and mechanisms. Machines have been a constant source of inspiration, from the Heath Robinson type devices he drew many years ago (and still is) to the steampunk images and complex mechanisms that now inform him.
