Welcome to Texas Blue Heelers. Located in Waller County, Texas, Texas Blue Heelers is a proud breeder of quality AKC registered Blue Heelers, also known as Australian Cattle Dogs. We are not a backyard kennel - we are Texas ranchers who work hard to breed and raise healthy Blue Heeler dogs. My wife and I both have animal science degrees from Texas A&M University, class of 2001. We have been raising dogs and cattle for more than 20 years. We are currently utilizing AI and embryo transfer in our cattle operation, and are looking to implement this into our dog program as well... At Texas Blue Heelers, we use a shorter, stockier dog, with a broad head and lots of bone and substance. These dogs are ranch-raised and are tough and gritty - not hyper. They make excellent working dogs, although only a small percentage of our dogs and puppies go to working homes.
