Dalia Yablon holds an A.B. in Chemistry from Harvard University and a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Columbia University. She is currently the technical co-chair for the TechConnect World Conference and chair of TechConnect Europe. Dr. Yablon focuses on nanomechanical characterization methods in her research and has worked in a number of areas including biotech, polymers, pharma, coatings, tribology, semiconductors, and materials for data storage. She has an extensive publishing record and has recently edited a book entitled Scanning Probe Microscopy in Industrial Applications: Nanomechanical Characterization, published by Wiley. Prior to surfaceChar, she spent 11 years at ExxonMobil Research and Engineering's Corporate Strategic Research, its flagship research center in Annandale NJ. At ExxonMobil, she served as Program Leader in various sectors of the energy business. She also built and led a state of the art scanning probe microscopy laboratory for nanoscale characterization of surfaces and interfaces.
