With expansive experience in operation management, Adam is passionate about Human Resources and going the extra mile for the employees. Adam graduated with an MBA in HRM from Everglades University in Boca Raton, FL in 2021.
Having grown up in New Mexico, Adam is dedicated to ensuring the success of those supporting addiction recovery in Albuquerque. Adam is always passionate about learning new things and hopes to continue outside education into his retirement. Outside of TPRC, Adam is a history enthusiast and enjoys visiting historical sites.

Alaina Goff, a native of Oahu, Hawaii, discovered her passion for unraveling the complexities of human behavior early on. She honed her expertise at the University of California, Los Angeles, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Anthropology with Summa Cum Laude honors and Departmental Honors.
Fueling her academic curiosity, Alaina pursued advanced studies at the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, delving into the realms of Forensic Anthropology and Pathology during her Master's and PhD programs.
Intrigued by the intersection of anthropology and human struggles, Alaina's personal journey through addiction and recovery became a catalyst for her deep commitment to addiction treatment. For over a decade, she shared her knowledge as an adjunct professor in Anthropology and Biology. However, driven by her heart's calling, she transitioned her career, dedicating herself entirely to aiding individuals battling addiction since 2014. Alaina's wealth of experience led her to pivotal roles such as Client Care Coordinator, Program Director, and Executive Director within residential addiction treatment programs. Her unwavering dedication to fostering supportive recovery environments is exemplified in her current position at Turning Point Recovery Center. As a vital member of the Turning Point team, Alaina is resolute in ensuring every facet of the facility contributes to the enhancement of a compassionate and empowering atmosphere for recovery.
Chrissy will be working as a CPSW and CCSS in Peer Support. Chrissy has several years of experience working for the State of the Recovery Center and Duke City Recovery Toolbox.

Dana brings over 30 years of experience in a diverse range of critical medical field applications, including the management of Urgent Care facilities, an Internal Medicine office, and domestic and international business development for a medical device manufacturing company.
Her work as a key member and manager of the detox team begins with her passion for helping clients advocate for themselves and being part of each client's recovery process. She holds certificates in healthcare administration and as a medical assistant.
Dr. Hazlewood completed his residency at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in June 2023 and is currently an Addiction Psychiatry fellow at UNM. He joined Turning Point Recovery Center as a psychiatrist, where he specializes in assessments, medication management, and suboxone treatment within the outpatient MAT program. He earned his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City, graduating in May 2019. Dr. Hazlewood has a keen interest in serving Native American patients and often emphasizes the psychoeducational benefits of physical fitness. Beyond his clinical practice, he actively lectures medical students and residents at the UNM School of Medicine and engages in clinical research focused on neuromodulation.
Dr. J. Randle Adair is a seasoned medical professional with a comprehensive background in both internal and addiction medicine. He began his academic journey with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Georgetown University in 1969. He later earned a PhD in Physiology from Emory University in 1974 and pursued a medical degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine, which he received in 1997. Upon completing his medical degree, Dr. Adair underwent Residency training in Internal Medicine at the University of South Alabama, finalizing it in 2000. His vast knowledge and dedication have earned him Board Certifications in both Internal Medicine and Addiction Medicine. His career has seen various significant roles. In 2013 and 2014, Dr. Adair spearheaded the Healthcare Professionals Program at the esteemed Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation located in Newberg, OR. He later shifted his practice to New Mexico, where he currently practices Internal Medicine at the New Mexico Cancer Center. Here, he has also made noteworthy contributions as the Medical Director of the New Mexico Healthcare Professionals Wellness Program and continues to play an active role in the Presbyterian Provider Wellness Committee. Adding to his illustrious career, Dr. Adair offers his expertise as the consulting Medical Director for the Turning Point Recovery Center in Albuquerque. Furthermore, he collaborates with SouthWest Labs and two rural New Mexican centers dedicated to providing essential services to individuals grappling with alcohol and drug dependencies.

Eric is the Chief Information Officer for Turning Point Recovery Center and also owns MechenbierIT, his own successful tech company in Albuquerque, NM. Prior to MechenbierIT, Eric was a Senior Analyst for an IT consulting company, focusing on EM design and implementation of IT systems consisting of subject matter expert interviews, requirements gathering and documentation, as well as project management experience.
Jeremy Cordova, BA, CPSW, TPRC Admissions Coordinator. I am dedicated to helping addicts find recovery and maintain sobriety. Prior to Turning Point, I studied Psychology and Sociology at the University of New Mexico, I am currently planning to work towards earning a Masters in Social Work. In January 2020, I will be celebrating three years in recovery. Outside of work, I stay busy with working out almost daily, playing beach volleyball, and caring for my giant baby Jaxx, a 150 pound Rottweiler.

Katie Ross, BA in speech and hearing sciences, Administrative Medical Coding and Billing Specialist. I began at TPRC as a receptionist. I loved meeting all of the wonderful clients that came to our program and I loved seeing the many success stories unfold. My detail-oriented personality eventually led me into the billing department, where I have since become an expert in working claims to receive payment from insurance companies in order to make client responsibility minimal. Outside of the office, I spend my days out in the wilderness exploring with my family and my dogs. I enjoy good books and long floats on the river!

Keith has over forty years of experience in various accounting and finance positions since receiving his MBA in Finance from the University of New Mexico. Keith has had leadership positions in some of the largest private companies in New Mexico as a Controller, VP of Finance and CFO.
Having been responsible for audits from DCAA, Sandia Laboratories, banks and outside auditors Keith understands the importance of accurate accounting processes. Keith has volunteered his time to local boy scouts and mental health providers. As a lifelong New Mexican he has enjoyed the outdoors through various backpacking trips around the state.
Lauren Bermingham, B.S, Admissions Supervisor. By studying Health and Behavioral Sciences, I found a passion in mental health and more specifically, treatment and recovery services for substance use disorder. I have previously worked in treatment centers in Delaware and California where I did counseling and program management for outpatient services. Outside of working for TPRC, I enjoy reading, learning to cook, and staying active.
Lawrence Martinez is multitalented and very busy! He's our Facilities Manager, taking care of maintenance, keeping all the facilities clean and operational. He cooks for our residential clients and makes sure there's food on hand for the rest of us. But that's not all! Well versed in IT maintenance and certified in Business Administrative Technology, he also takes care of our IT systems and makes sure everything is operational. He's a computer enthusiast, but is also studying to become a Certified Peer Support Worker. How does he balance it all? As a loving husband and father of five, Lawrence is practiced at multitasking! He says, "I value honesty, hard work and the interpersonal relationships with my coworkers and clients." We see those values in practice every day, in everything Lawrence does.

Megan Hosea is an OPD tech who conducts medical assessments for potential client's, assists with vitals and medication management with current patients while achieving quality patient care. Megan graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in HealthCare Administration with a minor in Healthcare financing. Megan has been working in healthcare for over 18 years from working in the ER, OR and ICU to Labor & Delivery and NICU. Healthcare has been a huge part of Megan's life which helps with her patient care as well as being in recovery herself, she is able to get on the same level as our clients. Megan loves to be outdoors. She enjoys spending time with her kids as well as fishing, hunting and camping.
Nathan Gonzales, Detox Manager. My job is to ensure all clients receive quality patient care while adhering to the requirements as set forth for all documentation in order to receive payment. I oversee the medical assessments, admissions, and discharges from all medical detoxification programs, and work with the provider to establish the appropriate level of care for each patient. I have worked for TPRC x4 years, starting at inpatient detox, as a technician.

Paul embarked on his transformative journey armed with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science from Marylhurst College and a Master's Degree in Experiential Therapy from the University of Wisconsin. With a commitment to fostering recovery, he inaugurated his first treatment center in 1997, which marked the beginning of a remarkable chapter in addiction rehabilitation.
Driven by a vision of elevating the quality of treatment in the fields of addictions and co-occurring disorders, Paul established Turning Point Recovery Center in 2010. Here, a superior and more integrative approach to addiction recovery has been cultivated, reflecting his continual dedication to expanding and enhancing treatment offerings. This unwavering focus aims at addressing the increasing needs in substance abuse and mental health within our community.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Paul is a passionate hand cyclist and outdoors enthusiast. He finds joy and balance through engaging in various outdoor activities, including camping, alongside his wife Rebekah and their beloved dog, Rajah. His personal interests not only fuel his spirit but also enhance his compassionate approach towards those journeying through recovery.

Paul has worked with people struggling with addictions since 2008, providing guidance for individuals in recovery and facilitating supportive interactive group therapy. Paul grew up in upstate New York and, after receiving his undergraduate degree in sociology and philosophy from SUNY Fredonia and studying western literature at St. John's College in Annapolis and Santa Fe, Paul came to Albuquerque to work as a VISTA Volunteer in a literacy program in the south valley. He received his master's degree in counseling in 2007 from Southwestern College. Paul works toward a vision where everyone who wants recovery from substance abuse can achieve it.

Shanelle Martinez, Accounts Receivable, Certified Peer Support Worker. I love engaging and interacting with the clients. the transformations are beautiful and very rewarding to be there to support the client on their journey. When I am not at work I am mommy to my son and three daughters, and wife to my husband. We are both recovering addicts and are celebrating 3+ years.
Vince comes to us with several years of related CPSW experience. He recently worked with Bernalillo County Behavioral Health as a Case Manager.
