The UFS chemist is a not-for-profit community pharmacy that has been operating in Mount Gambier since 1916. Its launch was prompted by the big rise in the cost of drugs during World War I - the Friendly Societies considered the increases too high, and decided to establish their own dispensary on true not-for-profit principles to ensure that members would receive quality prescribed medicines at affordable prices... At UFS Chemist, we make your healthcare our number ONE priority. We are the ONLY non-for-profit pharmacy in Mount Gambier and surrounding areas.
