WENDY BOOTH

A former elected official with the Regional District of East Kootenay (RDEK) for a decade, serving as Vice-Chair for 6 years, she has extensive experience in board governance and strategic planning. In 2018, she felt she had completed the projects that were important to her constituents, a highlight being securing potable drinking water for the community of Windermere, she chose not to seek re-election... Having been a Director and Vice-Chair of Columbia Basin Trust from 2011-2018, she has a keen passion for community development and working with communities throughout the region. She has the ability to listen intently, understanding that a problem well defined is easier to solve. Her knowledge of working with different sized and geographically located communities enables her to be creative and realistic in providing direction.
