Gareth is our Group General Manager with over 10 years civil construction experience, delivering and leading complex infrastructure projects across a range of sectors. Having worked across the South Island, Gareth brings local knowledge, combined with operational expertise to ensure the smooth delivery of challenging civil engineering projects for UINZ. Gareth will interface and manage delivery across all levels of a project including commercial and contract, project management, and planning and procurement all whilst working inclusively with the teams on the ground.
Gareth supports his wider team to ensure he gets the best out of everyone while ultimately meeting the needs of the client.
Harley started out as a directional driller at the young age of 16. He spent the majority of his career in Australia working on major projects for local councils and large construction companies, progressing up the ladder to become a drilling supervisor in 2010 at the age of 20. From there, Harley's passion for the pipeline industry resulted in his moving into a managing role to start the pipeline company, which is now Utilities Infrastructure NZ Ltd.
Harley's areas of expertise include; PE Welding, water reticulation, drainage, directional drilling and tunnel boring.

With 30+years of experience in the utility infrastructure industry, Jeff has developed a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of what it takes to successfully deliver a project. Jeff has successfully delivered a range of horizontal directional drilling (HDD) trenchless projects across New Zealand.
Jeff's experience of installation across a range of ground conditions means he can provide a high level of technical expertise for trenchless work planning and ensure the correct methodology is utilised. Jeff has exceptional attention to detail, is focused, driven and a dedicated team player committed to delivering the best for project outcomes.

Josh is a highly experienced civil construction professional with 17 years of experience.
He built his career from the ground up previously working as a machine operator to a foreman before completing his Diploma in Civil Engineering and moving into Engineering and Project Management roles. This experience gives him great insight into the practicalities of work from all perspectives.
Josh has managed several large civil construction projects across New Zealand. These projects encompass all aspects of civil construction, including three waters, utilities installation, civil structures, rail, earthworks, pavement construction and surfacing.
As Construction Manager for UINZ Josh is responsible for oversight of contract management, overall management and accountability for our civil division and offers his experience to further develop our project managers.
