The Vinalcool Arges joint-stock company was established in 1954, following an order issued by the Pitesti Local Council. Its aim was to develop the agricultural production (vines and fruit trees) of the local farms by producing and processing fruits and grapes and bottling the final products (tuica - wine)... Societatea S.C. Vinalcool Arges S.A. a fost infintata in anul 1954 printr-o decizie a consiliului regional Pitesti cu scopul valorificarii productiei agricole (viti-pomicole) de la gospodariile populatiei prin prelucrarea fructelor si strugurilor, fabricatia acestora si imbutelierea de produse finite ( tuica - vin).
