Dr Jeremy Webb

Job Titles:
  • General Practitioner at Orchard House Surgery
Jeremy Webb is a General Practitioner at Orchard House Surgery in Newmarket. He teaches Cambridge Graduate Course and Standard Course students. As CGC GP Coordinator Dr Webb works closely with the CGC Course Director, CGC Tutors and Administrator in the planning and delivering of the teaching and curriculum, ensuring liaison between Primary and Secondary care.

Dr John Clark

John Clark is a Consultant Physician at the West Suffolk Hospital and a Fellow of Wolfson College, Cambridge. He trained in medicine at the University of Glasgow, qualifying in 1979. His specialty training in Diabetes and Endocrinology took place at Addenbrookes Hospital and the University of Bristol, where he was a Lecturer in Medicine. His personal interests include playing football, tennis, squash and golf.

Dr Paul Siklos

Paul Siklos qualified from Middlesex Hospital Medical School (University of London) in 1972 and was elected Fellow of Royal College of Physicians (London) in 1991. After general medical experience he was appointed Lecturer in Medicine at University of Cambridge and was one of the first Clinical Supervisors in the newly established School of Clinical Medicine. After appointment as Consultant Physician at West Suffolk Hospital in 1982 he developed the links between the Hospital and Clinical School, and in 1995 was appointed Associate Clinical Dean. He was involved in the initial development of the Cambridge Graduate Course in Medicine and appointed Director in 2000. He has a clinical role in General Internal Medicine at West Suffolk Hospital, and interests in Undergraduate Medical education include curriculum development, student assessment and teaching Clinical Method.

Dr Ray Godwin

Ray Godwin is a Consultant Radiologist at the West Suffolk Hospital; a Fellow and Director of Studies (Medical Sciences) at Hughes Hall; and an Associate Postgraduate Dean, University of Cambridge. He trained in medicine at Fitzwilliam College (Cambridge) and Kings College Medical School (London). His specialty training took place at Addenbrookes Hospital. Medical interests include - interventional vascular radiology; breast imaging; and medical education and teaching theory. Personal interests include - music, he plays the saxophone; target shooting; and travel.

Hope Dennis-Davies

Hope Dennis-Davies is the Clinical Coordinator for the CGC. Her role is to support the students' clinical experience at the West Suffolk Hospital, mainly by identifying suitable patients for involvement with teaching sessions. Hope works closely with the Course Director, CGC Tutors and Administrator as part of the CGC Team. Patients become involved with the course as both inpatients and outpatients and Hope develops and implements consent processes for patients within the course, fulfilling her advocacy role.

Karen Hickman

Job Titles:
  • Administration Assistant
Karen Hickman is the Administration Assistant for the CGC. Her role is to support the Administrator with the organisation of the Cambridge Graduate Course in Medicine at the West Suffolk Hospital. Mrs Emma Barber-Lomax

Emma Barber-Lomax facilitates the organisation of the Cambridge Graduate Course in Medicine at the West Suffolk Hospital - this includes running the CGC Office; organising residential accommodation for students; and organising CGC teaching sessions in the WSH. Mrs Sarah Gull

Sarah Gull qualified in London in 1979 and worked as a junior doctor in London and Cambridge before becoming a Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at the West Suffolk Hospital in 1993. She has many interests, including her patients, epistemology, doing operations on large lumps, growing things from seed, new ideas, husband and three teenage children.
