After spells at an independent Scottish firm and large international firm, Andrew McKay joined Consilium in 2016. Now a Senior Manager within the firm's Audit department, Andrew manages the statutory audits for a portfolio of major clients.
Andrew qualified as a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland in 2014 and has developed extensive audit experience. This encompasses a broad range of industries including pharmaceuticals, transportation and hospitality.
With a sharp eye for more than just numbers, Andrew is a keen darts player and also enjoys watching football.

Anne McCulloch oversees and manages various aspects of tax compliance services within Consilium's Personal Tax team. A Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, Anne's career has been developed at Top Ten accountancy firms over the past 25 years.
Working with a diverse portfolio of clients, Anne possesses a wealth of experience and enjoys working with clients.
When she is not supporting clients, Anne enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Anup Thuhan joined Consilium Chartered Accountants in 2023 after completing a first-class Honours degree in Accounting. As a member of our Graduate training programme, Anup will be working and studying towards Chartered status with the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA).
Away from work, Anup can usually be found enjoying the latest blockbuster movie or catching up on his love of sports.

Beth is Consilium's sporting star, combining her role in the Audit department with a netball career. She represents Scotland and plays in the Women's Super League for Scotland's only professional team, the Strathclyde Sirens.
Beth is studying towards Chartered Accountancy status with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland. Her traineeship with Consilium combines experience across both Audit and Accounting, with exposure to a broad range of clients in various manufacturing, hospitality and engineering sectors.

After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 2011 with a big four firm, Brian Thomson moved into independent practice. Specialising in owner-managed businesses and charities, Brian became a Responsible Individual (RI) and joined Consilium Chartered Accountants in 2022.
Brian now manages and runs statutory audit services for a portfolio of clients that includes many of Consilium's largest corporates and charities.
Outside of work, Brian is kept busy running around after his kids and spending time on the golf course or rugby pitch.
Although he is a relatively new member of the team, Brian highlights the team spirit and supportive environment at Consilium as why he joined the firm.

Cloud Accounting specialist Callum supports a broad range of Consilium's Accounting and Audit clients. Callum supports clients that are in the process of converting to Cloud Accounting software. He also provides ongoing support and training for clients already utilising the firm's Cloud Accounting applications.
Away from work you will find Callum in the pub or at the gym; it's a happy balance!

After graduating from the University of Strathclyde with a degree in Accounting and Finance, Cameron joined Consilium Chartered Accountants. As a member of Consilium's graduate training programme, Cameron will work and study towards Chartered Accountancy status with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

Claire Campbell is a highly experienced Administrator who joined Consilium Chartered Accountants in November 2013. As one of the first hires to the company, Claire provided administrative support to the Tax department.
After starting a family, Claire returned to Consilium in September 2023. In this role, Claire handles administrative responsibilities for the Corporate Finance department. She also provides support to the Operations and Administration teams.
Outside the office, Claire enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Colin joined Consilium on a summer internship before being offered a training contract with the firm. Now a qualified Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland, Colin is a Manager within Consilium's Corporate Finance team.
Since qualifying in 2019, Colin has been involved in a range of projects for various clients. This includes financial due diligence, business valuations, financial projections, business disposals and grant reporting.
Colin previously worked in Consilium's Audit department as an Audit Senior before specialising in Corporate Finance.
An enthusiastic sportsman, Colin enjoys playing tennis, golf and football. He also spends time at the climbing wall and hill walking around Scotland's great outdoors.
Having progressed from intern to CA with Consilium, Colin emphasises the approachable nature of colleagues at all levels as one of the highlights of working for the firm.
Connor joined Consilium Chartered Accountants in 2019, as part of the company's Audit department. He successfully completed his professional qualifications in 2022 to achieve CA status from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.
As Audit Supervisor, he has responsibility for end-to-end management of statutory Audits for several Consilium clients. This includes managing and supporting junior members of the Audit department.
When he is not helping Consilium's Audit clients, Connor enjoys travelling internationally, attending festivals and the increasingly occasional gym session!

Connor Thomson joined Consilium Chartered Accountants in 2023 as part of our graduate training programme. Away from work and his professional studies, Connor likes to spend his spare time in the gym or watching the beautiful game.

Craig Coyle joined Consilium Chartered Accountants in 2022, becoming the seventh Partner at the firm. A Tax specialist for over 20 years, Craig's career was developed at Big Four and Top Ten firms.
Craig leads Consilium's Tax department working with clients across Scotland and the UK, supporting business owners and entrepreneurs to ensure their business affairs are structured in a tax-efficient manner.
Craig is a member of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland and the Chartered Institute of Taxation.
Away from work, Craig enjoys spending time walking his dog - a cocker spaniel he argued for years against getting - or watching football.

David joined Consilium Chartered Accountants as a graduate trainee in 2022. Prior to starting with the firm, he graduated with a degree in Accountancy and Finance from the University of Glasgow.
As a trainee, David is now studying towards Chartered Accountant status with the Institute of Chartered Accountants Scotland. He will combine his professional exams with practical experience in accounts and finance gained across Consilium's diverse portfolio of clients.
In his spare time, David can be found at the gym, spending time with friends or working on his golf swing.

Formerly a Partner at Arthur Andersen, Deloitte and RSM Tenon David is a founding Partner of Consilium. Responsible for Consilium's Audit department and Transaction Services team, he also undertakes various management responsibilities for the firm including recruitment and HR.
David has over 30 years of experience in Corporate Finance and Audit - he qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1991 - and manages relationships with many of the firm's largest clients. This includes close relationships with banks and Private Equity firms in the execution of transactions.
Deeply passionate about Consilium and the firm's work with the ICAS Foundation, David singles out overseeing the professional development of colleagues as one of his greatest satisfactions.
Out of the office, David is a keen golfer and rugby fan. In the winter months, you will find him indulging in his love of skiing.

Derek joined Consilium Chartered Accountants in 2013 as a Senior Manager and progressed through the company to the position of Partner in the company's Accounts and Business Services team.
Derek has extensive experience assisting business owners with accountancy, taxation and advisory services. A specialist in the SME marketplace Derek relishes working with Consilium's dynamic and entrepreneurial clients.
In his spare time, Derek enjoys playing golf and tennis.

Formerly a Lecturer for the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS), Duncan joined Consilium in 2020 as Corporate Tax Manager. He was promoted in November 2023 to Corporate Tax Senior Manager. Hugely experienced in his field, he trained future Chartered Accountants and HMRC trainees after qualifying as a Chartered Tax Advisor in 2009.
Duncan now manages Corporate Tax compliance for Consilium's clients, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in Corporate Tax returns. A key member of the Tax team, he also works closely with colleagues in the firm's Audit and Accounts departments.
When Duncan is not helping clients get their tax right, the avid sportsman is usually to be found running, playing golf (or ‘hacking' as he describes it!) or coaching youth rugby at his local club.

Eileen is one of the original members of the Consilium team, having joined the firm at its inception in 2013. Vastly experienced in Accounting and Business Services, Eileen works closely with a varied portfolio of clients.
Eileen is a qualified member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland and has worked with clients in engineering, manufacturing and hospitality for many years.
When she is not helping clients, Eileen enjoys the highs and lows of watching her local football team, travelling and live music.

Eleanor joined Consilium Chartered Accountants in September 2022 as part of the Operations team. She supports the Audit department, Directors, and Senior Managers to ensure the smooth running of administrative functions and accurate information management.
Eleanor possesses a wealth of operations experience gained across roles in professional services, IT, HR, and construction. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, travelling, and indulging in her passions for horse riding and winter sports.

After graduating with a degree in Accountancy, Emma joined Consilium's Graduate programme as a trainee in 2019. She successfully completed her professional studies in 2022 to become a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS).
Emma is an Audit Supervisor with the firm, managing and supporting junior members of the Audit team for several Consilium clients. She works across multiple sectors, including hospitality, construction and logistics.
Fitness fanatic Emma likes to burn off a few calories to indulge in her passion for baking.

Ester joined Consilium Chartered Accountants as a graduate trainee in August 2022. After graduating with a degree in International Business from the University of Strathclyde she went on to complete a Master's degree in Creative Industries and Cultural Policy at the University of Glasgow.
During Ester's gap year between academic studies, she worked in film production providing accounts and bookkeeping support. She is now studying towards her Chartered Accountant status with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.
Primarily working in the Audit department Ester will gain practical experience in accountancy and finance across all of the company's disciplines.
When Ester is not studying or supporting Consilium's clients she loves to bake (which the rest of the Consilium team is delighted about). She also enjoys watching good films and catching up with friends.
