David Fuente

Dave is the former chairman and CEO of Office Depot and former president of Sherwin-Williams Paint Stores. In addition to his role as Chairman Emeritus of SSA & Company, he is a Senior Advisor at Peter J. Solomon Company. He formerly served on the boards of Office Depot, Ryder Transportation, Dicks Sporting Good and others. Dave was appointed on the board by Kairos Ventures as an Investor Director for Neuro-Bio.

Dr Gary Manchee - Chief Data Officer

Dr Gary Manchee gained his PhD in 1995 studying species differences in drug metabolism and went on to collaborate with the University of Dundee to crystallise a major human phenolsulphotransferase enzyme. Gary is the co-author on 26 published papers. Dr Gary Manchee has been involved in the development of several key medicines including Ventolin, Zantac and Serevent and progressed 35 new compounds into early and late stage development. He has also led cross-discipline research and development teams within cardiovascular and psychiatric disease areas. Dr Gary Manchee has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for over 30 years, starting as a bench scientist and progressing to Director of Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics in Psychiatry, Respiratory & inflammatory, and Immuno-inflammatory disease areas within Drug Discovery at GSK. He has joined Neuro-Bio as CDO

Dr Sara Garcia-Ratés - COO

Sara graduated from the University of Barcelona, with a PhD in Neuropharmacology and Drug development. She started her career with Prof Susan Greenfield as a postdoctoral researcher exploring novel approaches to neurodegeneration at Oxford University and has continued this work while transitioning from academia to the private sector. She has considerable experience in research and development and extensive expertise relating to the nicotinic receptor - a main focus for Neuro-Bio.

Javier Audibert

His early career started as Financial Advisor and gained a certificate as European Financial Advisor . He worked seven years in a wealth asset management firm as Customer Operation Manager in Spain. Last eight years he has been working in finance in the UK for different industries (environmental ,technology and biotech). Currently he is in the final stage of ACCA to be a chartered certificated accountant in the UK.

Nick also serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director of an investment company focusing on cannabinoid and Internet-of-Things businesses; an early stage biotech company with a proprietary platform in oncology, anti-infectives and diagnostics, an IT business specializing in healthcare, travel and cybersecurity and an advanced AgriTech business.

Paul Herrling

Professor Paul Herrling was Head of Corporate Research at Novartis. He is also Chairman of the Board of the Novartis Institute for Tropical Diseases in Singapore, an endeavour to advance medical research in the area of tropical infectious diseases, which historically have received little drug-research funding. Prior to this, Paul Herrling was Head of Global Research at Novartis Pharma and a member of the Pharma Executive Committee (PEC), he is a member of the Board of the Genomics Institute of the Novartis Research Foundation in La Jolla California and he serves on the boards of several other research institutions. Paul Herrling is also Professor of Drug Discovery Science at the University of Basel, Switzerland. He obtained his doctorate in 1975 at the University of Zurich and was a post-doctorate fellow at the Neuropsychiatric Institute at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Tim Hilton - CFO

Tim is a chartered accountant with many years' experience acting as a CFO or Finance Director for a number of different companies in a variety of business sectors. Tim qualified as a chartered accountant in 1991 in London and in the same year he left practice to join The Britt Allcroft Group Limited (subsequently renamed Gullane Entertainment plc) on the South Coast which owned the IP rights over Thomas the Tank Engine. Over the next ten years, he was a key member of the senior management team that floated the media company in 1996 onto the main market of the London Stock Exchange and grew the business significantly thereafter through a mixture of internal growth and a succession of acquisitions including the purchase of Guinness World Records for approximately £45m from Diageo. After leaving Gullane in 2001, Tim worked initially as an independent consultant, advising and in some cases investing in companies in the publishing, IT, telecoms and media sectors. Tim co-founded his own firm of Chartered Accountants (Avonglen Limited) in 2003 with two other partners based on Southampton Science Park and currently provides CFO services to a small portfolio of mainly technology based businesses.
