Mark leads our corporate and commercial team and has a wealth of business experience. In the 1990s Mark held a number of senior management positions with a global multinational confectioner.
At the turn of the millennium Mark attended the world renowned business school, Henley Management College and studied business processes in the UK and China. His works included writing the Strategic Management Challenge on Manchester City Football Club. Those who follow football will understand that this motivated Mark to challenge the norm in relation to legal services!
Almost every business sector has undergone fundamental change and Mark works on the assumption that every five years there will be a fundamental change in your business sector and requirements.
Law is very much a family affair in the Ashton household, having been inspired by his father, an offshore Lawyer. Together with his unique range of business skills, and extensive knowledge he offers a deeper insight into client problems than most other lawyers.
In the last few years Mark has been the lead lawyer for many business clients on deals up to £10 million, including a variety of acquisitions, disposals and special projects including corporate restructuring.
Mark is the preferred lead professional for many of the National Business Transfer Agents, Commercial Finance Brokers, Accountants, and various other professionals.
