ADATO DESIGN

The following ceramic works were made using the traditional technique of Mexican Talavera. What distinguishes Talavera ceramics is the quality of the clays found in this region of Mexico, the beautiful glazes that raises high off the surface, and the artform's unlikely history. These collection are the result of a close collaboration between the artist and a small group of artisans at Estudio Cocoyotla and Arquetopia, an artist-in-residence organization in Mexico. All pieces are hand made in Mexico and are lead-free and microwave safe. Thanks for visiting and enjoy!
