ACUPUNCTURE - Key Persons
Dr. Lew studied acupuncture at the Alberta College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese medicine in Calgary. She has been practicing since 2008 and has taken many workshops to further her education. Some of her favorite pursuits include: sports injuries women's health, stress and anxiety and balancing the flow of energy through the teaching of Master Tung and Dr. Richard Tan.
In addition to using various needling techniques, she likes to incorporate soft tissue manipulations ( such as Gua Sha or cupping ) at the end of her treatments as she deems necessary.

Dr. Li's journey of traditional Chinese medicine started in the 1990's. Working alongside with her mother, the renowned Chinese herbalist and acupuncturist Dr. Ruan Li Xiang in Calgary, she built her solid foundation of knowledge of TCM and acupuncture. To further her study, Dr. Li attended the Alberta College of Acupuncture and TCM and became a registered acupuncturist in 2005. To advance her skill, Dr. Cathy Li received 6 months advanced training at the Xia Men Hospital of TCM and Acupuncture in China in 2006. Dr. Li receives regular advanced training every year.

Dr. Mandy Liu, doctor of acupuncture, has been a registered acupuncturist, member of CAA ( College of Acupuncturists of Alberta) and doctor of traditional Chinese medicine in Calgary since 2005. Dr. Liu opened the Total Acupuncture Clinic in Calgary in 2009, after a growing clientele spread the word of her knack for helping people enhance their well-being in a very calming and effective way.
The founder of Total Acupuncture Clinic, Dr. Liu is a registered acupuncturist and doctor of TCM in Calgary, Alberta.
