Annie Karp is an expert in helping small businesses define their HR strategy, recruit top talent and set up a functioning human resource department. With over 20 years of Human Resource experience helping small companies, Annie takes a hands on approach to all generalist responsibilities. Her areas of strength include employee relations, recruiting and work/life balance programs.
Annie has her degree in Accounting from the Smith School of Business at University of Maryland, College Park.
She holds her SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resource) Certification as well as her SHRM-SCP (Society for Human Resources-Senior Certified Professional). She has worked with national CPA firms such as Deloitte & Touche and McGladrey. Additionally, she has worked for many years in the biotech and government contract industries. Annie volunteers within the community and manages a Facebook page to help others find local jobs.
