Dane has an established career in managing a variety of project types in numerous industries and is well-known for his work ethic, client service, and communication style. He is motivated by building relationships and maintaining a collaborative process to provide design solutions. Dane serves as a mentor and appreciates team camaraderie. He is responsible for coordinating all disciplines, including engineers, consultants, and the in-house staff. He manages administrative and technical tasks to ensure that clients' design needs benefit from the most efficient and cost-effective execution of projects.
Elena is a designer who has worked with Essenza for 2 years. She has been involved in projects through all phases of design and works closely with the entire team. Elena is responsible for modeling the projects in Revit and assisting with design concepts and visioning.
Jason is a Colorado-licensed Architect with over 22 years of experience. He has worked on a wide variety of projects, including Site Planning, Mixed Use, and Commercial design. He works to connect clients with projects through a collaborative design process. Jason has a passion for building information modeling and crafting drawings to work through the design process, share and absorb ideas, and discover project opportunities. Listening with an open mind establishes the foundation for making connections and creates the platform for working together.
Jason is an extraordinary communicator who simplifies complex issues and ensures time is taken to reach successful resolutions. His expertise in all phases of design and documentation, combined with his attention to detail in zoning, building code analysis, and energy efficiency, make him a strong and valuable team member.

Working directly with Christa Plaza and the Essenza Architecture team, Kristen leads strategy conversations regarding market share growth, pursuits, and messaging. She works with the team to strategize responses to RFP/Qs, online platforms, conference exhibitions and presentations, and business development projections. Kristen supports key market and client development tasks helping formulate unique value propositions for each.
Kristen has a 29-year marketing, business development, and public relations career across three industries - economic development, healthcare, and architecture/engineering/construction (15 years). As the owner of Build It Marketing, Kristen has been working with the Essenza team since 2021.
Matt is a senior-level design professional with over 20 years of experience in architectural design, entitlements, and concept design through construction documentation, visualization, graphics, and marketing. He works closely with the design teams and keeps clients informed of progress while directing in-house staff. Matt tracks project scope changes and prepares client presentation documents. Matt is responsible for producing animations, photorealistic images, and video fly-throughs.
Melissa is an experienced Architect who leads clients through pre-planning, design, and construction administration. She works closely with the design teams and keeps clients informed of progress while providing direction to in-house staff. Melissa is responsible for tracking project scope changes and preparing client presentation documents. In addition,
she contributes to quality control by performing construction site visits, answering RFIs, and processing invoices quickly. In 2020, the firm for which she worked recognized Melissa as "˜Emerging Firm Leader 2020". During her time at the Philadelphia University College of Architecture and Built Environment, she received the "˜Sustainability in Architecture:
Faculty Design Award". From scholar to board member, Melissa has been involved with the Christoper Kelly Leadership Development Program, AIA, since 2018.
Mike is a proficient user of Autodesk Revit and contributes to the design and construction documents for many of Essenza"s projects. Prior to joining Essenza, Mike accumulates a wealth of experience in design and construction by managing construc- tion administration on multiple, luxury, custom homes and has produced construction documents on 100s of architectural projects, with a significant percentage being in the commercial and municipal realms. He is bilingual in English and Russian.
Nicole plays an integral role in the design process, contributing from the initial visioning stages to the completion of construction documents. She coordinates design work between the architectural and engineering teams while participating in progress meetings to ensure project alignment with the owner's vision. With her hands-on experience in construction and a strong passion for sustainable design, Nicole offers a unique perspective to the team. Her focus on remodels, and additions at Essenza Architecture equips her with valuable insights and inventive solutions.

Wendy has been collaborating with Christa Plaza on projects since 2000. While focused on client goals and budget, she delivers spaces that accentuate the project's vision. The materials she selects come from a place of knowledge and experience of over 30 years of experience, including aquatic facilities, hotels, resorts, clubhouses, fitness complexes, spa facilities, and restaurants. Wendy facilitates FF&E selections and specifications and manages FF&E shop drawings and the FF&E approval process throughout the length of the project.
As a WELL Accredited Professional, she guides the interior design process with mindfulness of how materials, finishes, and furniture impact human health and well-being.
Wendy is the owner of W/M Interior Design, which she founded in 2015.
