ATWATER HISTORICAL SOCIETY

We meet the third Monday of each month with the exception of December, July, and August when no general membership meetings are held. Our general meetings are held in the museum and begin at 7:00 p.m. The annual meeting is the second Sunday of September and this is a potluck on the grounds of the museum and starts at 1:00 p.m. We are a loose knit group who enjoy history, as well as preserving the Bloss Home. Our meetings are well attended where we get a lot accomplished, and have fun at the same time... The society was formed in 1972 by citizens who were concerned that the Bloss Home would not be saved by the City of Atwater.
