Alexis graduated from the Skin Institute in St. Louis, MO. She is very knowledgeable about skin care and makeup. Suffering from acne as a child is what led her into the esthetics industry. Epionce is the only skin care line that corrected her skin. Being a part of the Aurora team allows her to utilize her knowledge and experience with Epionce and SkinMedica to help her clients. Alexis believes that the key to a successful skin journey is a skin care regimen. She will provide an in depth consultation to create a skin care regimen and treatment series that best fits her client's skin concerns. Her passion is making her clients feel beautiful and confident while helping them achieve healthy skin. Alexis has been a Freelance Makeup Artist for 4 years and currently films YouTube tutorials on makeup and skin care. She continues to attend extended educational courses to help further her knowledge and provide exceptional treatments for her clients.
Alexis is currently a student at Southeast Missouri State University. She loves spending time with family, the outdoors, animals, music, and shopping. She is so excited to meet all the Aurora beauties that come in!

Amanda is a Registered Nurse and has worked in the healthcare field for 7 years. She originally started her career specializing in Pediatric Cardiology. Amanda absolutely loved pouring her heart and soul into caring for those fragile little ones. This was until she became a patient at Aurora Medical Spa and fell in love. It was not just Aesthetics that drew her into this industry, it was the passion and kindness that poured out of Aurora. Amanda knew that she wanted to be a part of this family and make others feel as special as she did.
I am so excited to be a part of the Aurora Team. I am a Registered Nurse and Certified Master Injector with a Business and Finance Background. I love learning and have made quite a career in it. I have a Masters in: Business Administration, Global Management, and Business Marketing.
My goal as an Aesthetic Nurse is to individualize services and treatments to each client based on their unique wants and needs. I love watching my clients become their best confident, beautiful selves(inside and out).

Ashlea has been a Nurse Practitioner for 2 years. She was a traveling nurse for 4 years prior to becoming a NP, and did a nursing contract in St. Louis which is where she found Aurora and started her own personal journey with medical aesthetics.
Ashlea is originally from South Dakota, but moved to Austin, TX 1 year ago to be closer to family and in warmer weather! She is so excited to join Aurora and for the opportunity to be a part of such a great team!
Brandi is a born and raised Austinite who lives on a small ranch. She is a medical esthetician and a laser specialist. She has been an esthetician since 2014 and is always evolving!

Chelsey Becker, MSN, FNP-C is a board certified Advanced Aesthetics Nurse Practitioner with a Masters Degree and over 5 years direct patient experience in the industry working at Aurora Medical Spa-St. Louis. While working there, Chelsey saw an average of 4,000 patients per year. The number of patients that are seen at Aurora Medical Spa St. Louis on a daily basis is more than most medical spas see in a month. This gives Aurora injectors an advantage over a lot of other medical spas-lots of EXPERIENCE!
Chelsey is a Certified Master Injector who's ever-evolving knowledge of the latest techniques set her apart in the industry. Her proactive and detail oriented personality along with her eagerness to help others reach their beauty goal have made her well known in the medical aesthetic industry for producing natural and trans-formative results.
Chelsey has always had a passion for aesthetics. Her love for the art of aesthetic nursing combined with her deep knowledge of facial anatomy is evident in her work. Through the use of dermal fillers, Botox, Dysport, Microneedling, Chemical Peels, numerous anti-aging devices, and skin care, Chelsey develops an individualized treatment plan for each patient, as no two faces are the same. After working for Aurora Medical Spa St Louis for numerous years, Chelsey began to realize a need for a personalized and specialized approach to facial aesthetics in her hometown, Cape Girardeau. Her dream has always been to return to Cape and raise her family there. She had a vision for a high end, modern space where aesthetics are prioritized and where she could seamlessly integrate regenerative medicine with facial rejuvenation much like Aurora Medical Spa-St. Louis.
Chelsey uses all Allergan, Revance, and Galderma products and is constantly seeking more knowledge and skills to always provide the very best treatments in the rapidly growing medical aesthetic industry. Chelsey attends industry conferences and trainings throughout the country as often as possible. She loves working in this industry and has a passion for helping her patients look and feel like the best version of themselves. When she is not at Aurora, Chelsey loves spending time with her husband, Chad, and two daughters, Ava and Brooklyn. They have two golden-doodles, Stella and Sophie, and enjoy being outdoors, spending time with family, and staying active.
Chelsey is our Assistant Spa Director & is so excited to be one of the first faces you see when you walk in our door. Chelsey has been a teacher for the last 11 years, and the Director of Special Education for two years. She is a mama to two boys & loves spending time with her husband and kiddos. Christian is a Registered Nurse and a Certified Plastic Surgery Nurse with over 27 years of combined Nursing experience. She graduated from Deaconess College of Nursing and started her nursing career in St. Louis, MO working in PACU surgery at SSM Health.
While in St Louis, Christian began her career in plastic surgery working with a Surgeon that specializes in Breast and Body contour. Christian has been in Columbia, MO since 2000 and has worked with several physicians in the Plastic Surgery Arena. Christian has served on the Board of Directors for the International Society of Plastic Surgery Nurses and is a published author in the Plastic Surgery Nursing Core Curriculum 2014 4th edition. She most recently spent the last 8 years at the University of Missouri in Facial Plastic Surgery, where she injected on a full time basis, and became a Master Cosmetic Injector. She has extensive experience in sclerotherapy, certification in several cosmetic laser platforms, microneedling, medical grade skincare, Botox, Dysport, several lines of dermal fillers, and is a AAAASF Inspector.

Dr. Marcelo Antunes is a double-board certified facial plastic surgeon with a practice focused on facial procedures.
Dr. Antunes is known for achieving exquisite results that appear refreshed and natural. He does everything possible to make your experience positive, from start to finish. He is the recipient of multiple awards and is considered among the region's top-rated facial plastic surgeons in Austin, TX.
Dr. Mark Boschert is a highly-respected plastic surgeon, who is experienced with all procedures for the face, breast and body, with a specialty in facial procedures such as facelifts and fat grafting. He prides himself in making the procedure fit each patient's desires and anatomy. He says that patients today are very educated and come to the consultation with lots of information. It's his job to separate fact from fiction and to tailor the correct solution to the specific needs of each individual patient. Erin is a Licensed Aesthetician that graduated from Renaissance Beauty Academy in Cape Girardeau. Erin wants to make people feel good about themselves with proper skin care treatments and at home care. Her career as an Aesthetician allows her to truly impact someone's life just by allowing them to unwind, decompress and feel good about doing something for themselves. She is passionate about educating her clients on a treatment plan that would be best for them as well as an individualized proper home care routine. Grace's interests in art and modeling led her to pursue obtaining her Esthetics license from The Skin Institute. She has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to skincare products. Grace places a value on the importance of individualized skincare and enjoys developing customizable skincare regimens and aesthetic treatment plans.

She earned her BS in Business Administration and MBA from Southeast Missouri State University, and a Doctoral Degree from University of Missouri. Jodi is mindful that every client is unique and is dedicated to developing a treatment plan based on their specific needs. She believes in the importance of body positivity and wants everyone to be confident and feel their best, in their own individual way. She is looking forward to meeting clients and building lasting relationships! Jodi loves spending time with her husband, Dustin, their kids, Fiona and Birch, and dog, Gabby. She enjoys photography, reading, and traveling - the further the better! Costa Rica is her favorite place (so far), with Greece a close second.
Jordyn is a graduate from Hoss Lee Academy, located in Roseville, California. She is a highly motivated professional, certified in a wide range of beauty and skincare treatments and techniques. She began her career at Satori Lash and Skin Lounge, where she performed services such as lash extensions and facial treatments. As she has continued to hone her craft, her passion for the industry continued to grow she decided to further her career by pivoting into the medical aesthetics industry, where she can focus on providing her clients with result driven treatments. Kandice is a Registered Nurse and has worked in the healthcare field for 10 years. She graduated from Chamberlain College of Nursing with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and started her nursing career in St. Louis, MO.
While in St. Louis, Kandice began her professional career at Mercy Hospital focusing in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Emergency Room. After a few years in the hospital setting helping patients feel better, Kandice was ready to combine her expert nursing knowledge with her sincere desire to help patients feel and look their best.
This led to her employment as a Nurse Injector at Aurora Medical Spa in St. Louis, MO. She knew from day one that she was home. From the state-of-the-art facility to the extremely well trained staff, Aurora Medical Spa was very unique! Hi I'm Kelli! I graduated with my Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes Jewish College in 2012. My career started off on a Medical/Surgical floor at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO. However, the majority of my nursing career was spent on the pediatric floor at Mercy Hospital here in St. Louis. That experience helped me master my careful and gentle injection techniques I've been able to use here at Aurora to make client's experiences the best possible. I've always wanted to use my nursing degree to become aesthetics nurse, and I feel so lucky to have my dream job. Being able to help people look and feel their best is my favorite part of working at Aurora.
Kelly Jo is passionate about helping Aurora clients achieve their body goals! She obtained her esthetics license at Grabber School of Hair Design where she fell in love with the field of body contouring. Maddie grew up in Texas before moving to Missouri for college. After completing her BA, she moved back to Texas to pursue a career and fell in love with Austin and the surrounding areas. She joined the owner of the Georgetown Aurora Medical Spa as one of its first employees when it opened in 2019. Learning from the ground up on everything Aurora has to offer has given Maddie a deeper understanding and appreciation for the aesthetic industry and the importance of customer service at the forefront. She enjoys building relations with all of our patients and continues to help the Georgetown location grow! She has years of experience as a pediatric float pool and ICU nurse at both St. Louis Children's Hospitals, as well as in Nashville, Tennessee. MaryKate Mayberry BSN, RN is a registered nurse with over 10 years experience in the healthcare field. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Southeast Missouri State University with her Bachelor's in Science of Nursing in 2015. She started as a Neuro/Trauma registered nurse, eventually becoming a Neuro Progressive Care Nurse. Her most recent job however was a Progressive Care Float nurse where she worked within several areas at a local hospital.
MaryKate has always loved aesthetics! She believes in the products and treatments so much so she routinely uses them. Throughout her career, boosting her patient's confidence and helping them feel like the best version of themselves is her driving focus. MaryKate definitely tries to hone in on preventative treatments with natural yet precise results. No matter your journey, she wants YOU to feel safe and welcomed! She has been receiving extensive training from Allergan trainers in neurotoxins, dermal fillers, facials/lasers, and body sculpting. Mika Wright, BSN, RN is a registered nurse with over two years experience in the aesthetics industry. She graduated from Southeast Hospital College of Nursing, and went on to obtain her Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree through Western Governors University. Her career in nursing started out in orthopedic surgery, later transitioning to oral and maxillofacial surgery, where she was also able to begin her career in medical aesthetics. She has experience in neurotoxins, dermal fillers, facials, chemical peels, PDO threading, platelet rich fibrin therapies, and more. Her love for aesthetics started over ten years ago when she began doing bridal makeup for wedding parties, uncovering her passion for helping people look and feel their absolute best.
She truly feels like Aurora is where she belongs. It is extremely important for her clients to be heard and understood. She makes sure they feel no less than safe and comfortable expressing their concerns and needs with her. Mika prides herself in being a natural injector, while achieving optimal results.

Morgan is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in Bioidentical hormone replacement here at Aurora Medical Spa. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Goldfarb School of Nursing and her Masters at Maryville University. Morgan has always enjoyed working with clients who are struggling to feel like themselves. Through considerable training at BioTE in Texas, Morgan has gained useful knowledge of optimizing a person's hormones to make them feel great again. Her nursing background started on a Neuro oncology floor and brought her to the oncology/surgical ICU at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Through working with these patients she developed the desire to help people regain their confidence and feel young again. Morgan is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Missouri - Columbia. She worked as a nurse in the Cardio-Thoracic ICU at Barnes Jewish Hospital while earning her Doctorate in Nursing Practice back at MIZZOU. After she graduated, she practiced as a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner at Missouri Baptist Hospital. Her background in cardiology has shaped her into a caring and detail-oriented provider, who's passion is ultimately helping people feel their best. She now has expanded her practice into aesthetic medicine to not only help her clients feel their best, but look it too. She is excited to discuss your goals and ultimately help you achieve them!
Natalie is originally from Nashville Tennessee. She recently moved to Texas and calls the Hill Country her new home, with Husband Caleb and fur baby Polly.
Natalie has been a licensed esthetician since the fall of 2020 after graduating from Fort Worth Beauty School and also gained certification as a Microneedling specialist and Laser Technician from Texas Laser Institute LLC. Natalie has always been passionate about skin care. Stacy graduated from Missouri State University with a degree in Business Management. She has a passion for creating the ultimate experience for our clients and loves seeing the confidence that we're able to provide through our services. Stacy handles the daily operations at the Chesterfield location and loves to work closely with the team to ensure all runs smoothly.
Stephanie is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Goldfarb School of Nursing and her Master of Science in Nursing at Maryville University. She began her nursing career working in Emergency Medicine before moving into Oncology as a Nurse Practitioner. Through the course of her early career, Stephanie was fortunate enough to gain an invaluable amount of knowledge and experience across many different medical disciplines. Hello, my name is Taylor Schnurbusch, I'm from Cape Girardeau, MO, born and raised. I am a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Health Management: Exercise Science. I recently graduated from the Renaissance Beauty Academy Esthetics Program. As an aesthetician, I strive to help my clients see and reach their inner beauty, along with building long lasting confidence. Hi, I'm Teghan Altenthal, I'm from Jackson, MO, and have been my whole life! I graduated from Renaissance Beauty Academy in Cape Girardeau, MO. I went into skincare because of my passion to help others achieve confidence and strength through skincare. My favorite thing about being in this industry is seeing the difference I can make in others lives through just a simple treatment (or two ). I firmly believe that if we look good, we feel good.
