The Anchorage Youth Development Coalition (AYDC) supports youth-serving organizations through advocacy, resources, networking, and training so all Anchorage youth thrive. We're a broad and inclusive coalition of over 60 youth-serving organizations, businesses, and individuals working to create shared community practices around professional youth work... Since 1998 we have been working to prevent injuries, promote wellbeing, and improve safety for all Alaskans. In 2018, our organization changed its name from the Alaska Injury Prevention Center to the Center for Safe Alaskans. At Safe Alaskans, we take innovative, data-driven approaches to improve the lives of all Alaskans... We focus on individual, family, and community strengths and potential, this includes increasing protective factors and developmental assets.
