Brad Calhoun

Brad Calhoun was elected Trustee on November 3, 2009, and re-elected to another four-year term in November of 2013, 2017 and 2021. He holds a bachelor's degree in Secondary Education/Social Studies Comprehensive from Youngstown State University and a master's degree in Curriculum Education from Ashland University. Brad retired from the Boardman Local Schools on May 28, 2021, after a 33-year career teaching eighth grade American History and concluding his final year as student & family support coordinator. After his retirement, Brad joined the Executive Team at corporate offices of Phantom Fireworks. He is a Trustee of the J. Ford Crandall Foundation and has participated in many community organizations: including the Mahoning County Township Association; Ohio Township Association; Mahoning County Emergency Management Agency Planning Committee; Boardman Lions; Boardman Boosters; Boardman Civic Association; and Boardman PTA. Brad and his wife Susan (Schaefer) have two children. Sue recently retired after a 35 year career teaching fourth-grade with the South Range Local Schools; Jayson, who earned his bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources from Youngstown State University, is employed by R & J Trucking as the Vice President of Operations; and Adam graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and is employed as the Assistant Inventory Control Manager with the corporate office of Phantom Fireworks. Brad and Sue welcomed their first grandchild on July 9th, 2022. Quinn Berkeley is the first Calhoun girl in 91 years.

Jason Loree

Jason Loree is a lifelong resident of Boardman Township. He graduated from Boardman High School in 2000 and received a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and a Minor in Pre-Law from Kent State University in 2004. He completed a Master's in Public Administration from Kent State University in 2007. Jason has been the Administrator for Boardman Township since September 8, 2006, but has held positions at Boardman as an Administrative Assistant in 2006 and interned in 2004. He currently is a Trustee on the ABC Water and Stormwater District as Boardman Township's representative. At the state level, Jason has been appointed by the Governor of Ohio as the Ohio Township Association's representative on the Statewide Emergency Services Internet Protocol Network Steering Committee tasked to look at next generation 911 system. Civically, he has served as a past president of the Local Lions Club and formed a non-profit to help raise money for the Marge Hartman Pawstown Dog Park at Boardman Park.

Larry Moliterno

Larry Moliterno was elected Trustee in 2007 to fill the seat vacated by retired Trustee Elaine Mancini, and reelected in 2011. Larry and his wife Kathleen (Kelly) have two children, Tyler and Lauren. Larry holds a Bachelors Degree in Communication and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Youngstown State University, where he also serves as a part-time instructor. Larry has a 25-year history of leadership positions in both the for-profit and not-for-profit arenas. Larry's career has included serving as Executive Director of Catholic Charities and Director of Planning for the Youngstown/Mahoning Valley United Way. He is currently the President/CEO of Meridian Community Care, a diverse behavioral health organization. A graduate of Leadership Mahoning Valley, Larry has participated in a number of community organizations including serving on the Executive Committee of Boardman Civics, and as Vice President of Boardman Community Baseball. Larry spearheaded the original Boardman Plan and currently represents Boardman on the BSTN Advisory Committee and serves on the Board of Directors of the Mahoning County Landbank.

Stephanie is the Deputy Administrator of Boardman Township. She is also a board member of the Boardman Civic Association. She has actively participated in many other service organizations, in addition to teaching business courses at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center (MCCTC), and ITT. She is also a graduate of the Ohio Township Association's Leadership Academy and the Regional Chamber's Mahoning Valley Local Government Leadership Academy. Tom Costello

Thomas (Tom) Costello is now serving his 5th term as a Trustee for Boardman Township. Tom recently retired, after a 40-year career at James and Sons Insurance, a local independent insurance agency located in Boardman. He served in many capacities, with the last 20-plus years as president of the company. He attended Youngstown State University and is a graduate of Leadership Youngstown. He has served on several boards in the insurance industry throughout his career. Tom has been active in our community for many years. His involvement includes Kiwanis, Boardman Civic Association, Hope House Visitation, Steel Valley Homes for Youth, and more. Tom continues to serve as an active member and is past president of the Mahoning County Township Association. He was proud to have co-chaired the fundraising drive to build the Boardman Performing Arts Center and was especially honored to have received the Boardman Civic Association's Community Service Award for 2005.

  • Fiscal Officer
Mr. Leicht has more than 30 years of experience in private business. Prior to his election as Boardman Township Fiscal Officer, he served as a member of the Boardman Board of Education for 12 years. During Mr. Leicht's tenure, the Fiscal Office has maintained a spotless record in its annual audit conducted by the Ohio Auditor of State with no major findings. Under Mr. Leicht's tenure, the Township Fiscal Office has introduced programs that strengthen systems for safeguarding Township assets, and his investment policies over a four-year period have earned some $502,101. In addition, annual motel tax collections have risen to nearly $290,000.
