Cranberry Township is governed by an elected body organized under the Borough Code of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The Borough Council consists of seven elected officials, each serving a four-year term.
All Borough meetings begin at 7:00 PM, unless otherwise advertised. They are held in the Borough Building unless otherwise noted. Agendas are posted on the Borough website in advance of the Borough meeting and the minutes of those meetings are posted to the website following the meeting.
The Council meets once a month and this typically occurs on the first Monday of each month. Public comment on any item, on or off of the agenda, is welcome at all Council meetings. Minutes are taken at all meetings to record the formal actions taken by the Board and to summarize its comments and discussion.
