Michelle T. Duval is Of Counsel at Curiale Wilson LLP. Michelle's practice focuses on employment defense litigation, advice and counsel, including misclassification, wage and hour claims, discrimination, wrongful termination, harassment, California Private Attorney General Act (PAGA) actions, and breach of contract cases. She has represented clients before state and federal courts, and in arbitration and mediation. Michelle received her J.D. in 2005 from the University of California, Davis School of Law (King Hall). At King Hall she was awarded a Public Interest Law Certificate, served as Senior Articles Editor for The Journal of Environmental Law & Policy. She received her Bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Cape Town, South Africa, and a Master of Arts in journalism/public relations from Ball State University in Indiana. Michelle is licensed to practice before all the Courts of the State of California, the United States District Courts for the Northern and Central Districts, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
