Dr Aakriti Gupta

Dr. Gupta graduated from the University of Adelaide with the University Medal for highest overall performance in Medicine. She subsequently undertook specialty dermatology training in Adelaide, completing rotations in all of South Australia's major teaching hospitals. During her training she was awarded a Travelling Fellowship to complete a year of her training in Oxford, UK. As well as practicing all aspects of medical and procedural dermatology, she has a particular interest in skin cancer and laser dermatology. She has multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals for cutaneous oncology and medical education. Dr Gupta has also been awarded prizes by the Royal Society of Medicine and the British Society for Medical Dermatology for her research presentations in London. Dr Gupta has co-authored book chapters pertaining to the use of botulinum toxin in Dermatology and aesthetic facial assessment as well as been a chair for Australian conference sessions on cosmetic dermatology. She is currently a Board Member of the Australasian Society of Cosmetic Dermatologists. Dr Gupta takes great pride in her work and is committed to offering the highest quality clinical service to her patients.

Dr Colin Ooi

Dr. Ooi was born in Malaysia, grew up in South Australia and attended medical school at the University of Adelaide, graduating in 1998. He completed his internship and a year as a resident medical officer at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. His initial appointment as a Dermatology Registrar was at the National Skin Centre, Singapore in 2003. This 12 month overseas posting enabled him to gain valuable experience in the recognition and management of skin diseases in Asians. On his return to Adelaide, he worked as a Dermatology Registrar in the major teaching hospitals in South Australia and successfully passed the fellowship exams. His contributions to the Dermatology literature include published case reports and a chapter on Eczema, co-authored with Professor Goh Chee Leok and Dr Anthony Goon, in "The Asian Skin: A Reference Colour Atlas of Dermatology". Until recently, Dr. Ooi was affiliated with the department of dermatology at the Royal Adelaide Hospital where he contributed over a ten year period to the teaching of dermatology registrars and medical students in his capacity as Senior Visiting Medical Specialist.

Dr Jeff Wayte

Jeff Wayte is a graduate of the University of Adelaide and a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists after training in Ireland, England and Adelaide. He works in private practice with Dermatology SA and is a senior visiting medical specialist at both the Royal Adelaide and Womens and Childrens Hospitals.He is a clinical lecturer at the University of Adelaide and recently completed a 4 year term as South Australian Director of Training for the Australasian College of Dermatologists. He remains involved in undergraduate and post-graduate teaching with a particular interest in paediatric dermatology, surgical dermatology and laser treatment of vascular lesions.

Dr Matthew Cho

Dr Cho completed his training in Adelaide and is a new fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists. He obtained his medical degree from the Flinders University Medical School, where he graduated with first class honors in 2012. He completed internship and two years of basic physician training at Royal Adelaide Hospital prior to commencing Dermatology training in 2016. He has extensive experience in the management of complex medical and surgical dermatological conditions through comprehensive training received from Royal Adelaide Hospital, the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Flinders Medical Centre and Royal Darwin Hospital, and in paediatric dermatology at the Women's and Children's hospital. A published author in international peer-reviewed journals, Dr Cho is interested in all facets of adult and paediatric medical and surgical dermatology.

Dr Noel Grieve

Dr Grieve graduated in medicine from the University of Adelaide in 1972. After doing training in General Medicine and Pathology Dr Grieve completed his Dermatology training at the Royal Adelaide Hospital in 1981 and was awarded his Fellowship of the Australasian College of Dermatologists. Dr Grieve started the Dermatology practice that has now become Dermatology SA soon after gaining his specialist qualification. He has been Senior Visiting Dermatologist at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, Visiting Dermatologist at the Women's and Children's Hospital, Chairman SA Faculty Australasian College of Dermatologists and Councillor of the Australasian College of Dermatologists.

Dr Romuald T Czechowicz

Dr Czechowicz graduated in medicine from Adelaide University in 1994. He completed undergraduate training at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and undertook Dermatology training at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, Women's and Children's Hospital, Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Flinders Medical Centre as well as the Royal Hospital Haslar in the United Kingdom. He was awarded Fellowship of the Australasian College of Dermatologists in 2002, and subsequently worked as a Consultant Dermatologist at the University Hospital North Durham in the United Kingdom. Upon returning to Adelaide in 2003, he became an associate at Dermatology SA and Director of Training for the Australasian College of Dermatologists in South Australia for 3 years. He is still actively involved in teaching.

Dr Sachin Vaidya

Dr Sachin Vaidya graduated in India in 2000. He completed his dermatology training in India at the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) in 2005. After moving to Australia, he completed his dermatology training in Adelaide in various public teaching hospitals, obtaining the Fellowship of the Australasian College of Dermatologists (FACD) in 2012. Sachin consults in private clinics at Dermatology SA. He also works as a visiting medical specialist at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and runs monthly vitiligo clinics. He enjoys supervising and teaching medical students and registrars. His interests are the management of acne, psoriasis, skin cancer, hair loss, paediatric dermatology and surgical dermatology. He has a broad experience in treating infectious skin diseases, vitiligo and pigmentary skin conditions. He has a strong academic interest. Instrumental with the introduction of Excimer Monochromatic 308nm treatment for vitiligo and other skin conditions in South Australia, Dr Vaidya also has a keen interest in surgical management of stable vitiligo and has introduced autologous micro punch grafting and Re-Cell techniques in South Australia. Dr Vaidya has been a committee member for the Vitiligo Association of Australia (VAA) since 2013. He is also member of Australasian College of Dermatologist (ACD), Australian Society of Cosmetic Dermatologist (ASCD), The Australasian Dermatopathology Society (ADS), Asian Scientific Pigment Cell Research Society (ASPCR) and Associations of Cutaneous Surgeons of India (ASCI). He believes in "Holistic" Medicine and likes to treat each patient as an individual. He enjoys playing table tennis, cricket and listening to music.

Dr Simon Khoury

Dr. Khoury is a member of academic staff in the College of Medicine and Public Health at Flinders University where he teaches future medical graduates and supervises research. As a member of several elite subspeciality groups he maintains leading knowledge and expertise in adult and paediatric dermatology.
