DR. MAUDE - Key Persons
Bree graduated from San Diego State University in 2008 with a Bachelors Degree of Science in Foods and Nutrition. She then went on to pursue her true passion of becoming a dental hygienist, and graduated from Southwestern College with an Associate's Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2011. She has been with our practice since early 2012, and absolutely loves caring for and building long-lasting relationships with our patients. She is both extremely thorough and gentle, and loves the feeling of accomplishment she gets from educating her patients in oral health, providing individualized patient care, and helping to create beautiful smiles. Her hobbies include spending time with her friends and family, cooking, working out and being active, and traveling. A quote Bree often refers to is: "To love what you do and feel that it matters - what could be more fun?"
Dr. Michael Maude earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, a prestigious private dental school in Loma Linda, California in 1998. Graduating amongst the top in his class, Dr. Michael Maude was able to begin practicing dentistry privately right away. He purchased his private practice in La Mesa, California and practiced out of that office until he relocated to a brand new building in El Cajon in 2011. Dr. Maude has a second dental practice in Rancho Penasquitos, which he opened in 2005. Dr. Maude has received extensive training in cosmetic dentistry. He is a certified provider of Invisalign, ZOOM! Advanced Power Plus Whitening and veneers. Dr. Maude also performs many types of oral surgery including extractions, implant placement and gum grafting procedures. An avid gardener, Dr. Maude truly enjoys caring for his fruit trees ranging to fig and pomegranate to limes and passion fruit. He loves to bring in baskets of seasonal fresh fruit from his garden for his patients to enjoy as well. He stays active by playing on a men's soccer league once a week. Dr. Maude and his wife, Renee have four children together.
Kaitlin helps our patients navigate through the financial aspects of their dental treatment, in addition to overseeing the day-to-day functions of the office. Good oral health is an important part of overall physical well-being, and she is glad to be a contributing member of such a wonderful group that is so dedicated to helping people maintain excellent long-term healthy teeth and gums. We work in a fun, friendly environment, where everyone works as a team to make sure our patients receive the best possible care. Aside from seeing healthy smiles, her three favorite things are football, hiking, and sunshine!
Renee graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications & Public Relations in 1998. She worked for a large PR firm executing marketing efforts for several clients, and then in-house at SDSU's Marketing & Communications Department. While her children were little, she freelanced from home for a PR firm, and eventually launched her own lifestyle blog, She Blooms Violet.
