EFI POLICY CONFERENCE

EFI is a transnational, politically-independent association formed in 2006 by friends of Israel in the European Parliament and in the EU's 27 National Parliaments... EFI brings together every parliamentary national-Israel friendship group from the EU's 27 member-states and a new Israel friendship group within the European Parliament... At the core of EFI's work is its belief that Israel needs and deserves a better recognition of the close cultural and democratic bonds that its shares with the EU, with the aim of underpinning greater EU support for the continuing challenges it may face over the coming years. But EFI can equally improve and help foster an environment in which Israel's commercial interests are enhanced. Our aim is to increase the number of Europeans who share this belief and encourage them to take individual political action.
