Morgan grew up in Utah where she trained at Linda Fenton Dance studio. While in school she performed with the pre-professional ballet company, Mountain West ballet. After graduating she danced with the Ballet West's Trainees here in Utah until she moved to Russia to become a full time student at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy.
Upon returning to Utah, Morgan danced on the ballet company, Utah Metropolitan Ballet. She received her BA in Dance from Brigham Young University where she performed with their Theatre Ballet Company. She enjoyed her experiences of working with repetitieurs from both the George Balanchine and Gerald Arpino Foundations. She was also privileged with the opportunity of traveling to Europe
