EDWARD S. LEYVA

EDWARD S. LEYVA, M. D. Board certified as a Polysomnographic Technologist by The Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists. Graduated from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston in Houston, Texas. He completed his residency at Christus Spohn Memorial Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas. Dr. Leyva also attended The University of Texas at El Paso where he received a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. Prior to joining El Paso Integrated Physicians Group in 2001 where he practices Family Medicine, he was Senior Polysomnographer II at Columbia Medical Center Sleep Disorder Center and Assistant Supervisor/Board Registered Polysomnographer at Sierra Providence Memorial Hospital Sleep Disorder Center. Some of Dr. Leyva's past volunteer work include: providing free medical attention to non-funded patients, free clinic for the homeless, counseling at a local battered women's shelter and triage at George R. Brown Center for survivors of Hurricane Katrina.

Rolando Longoria

ROLANDO RENE LONGORIA, M. D. Graduated from University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 1978 in San Antonio, Texas. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Brooke Army Medical Center in Ft Sam Houston, Texas where he also did his fellowship in Gastroenterology. Dr. Longoria was Staff Physician in Gastroenterology at D. D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center in Ft. Gordon, Georgia and Wm. Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, Texas. He has served in the U. S. Army and has practiced in El Paso for many years prior to joining El Paso Integrated Physicians Group in 2006.

SAMUEL FAVELA, O. D. completed his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Texas at El Paso. He attended and received his Optometry degree from the University of Houston, College of Optometry, Houston, Texas. He completed rotations through The Indian Health Service Hospital in Shiprock, New Mexico, and William Beaumont Army Medical Hospital in El Paso, Texas. Dr. Favela is an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. He specializes in ocular disease and pathology. His professional interests include post-operative cataract surgery care, glaucoma co-management, and dry eye disease treatment.
