Chanda Fredericks joined Evenson Sanderson PC in September 2020. She graduated from the University of North Dakota with honors in 2012 with a Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice Studies. In 2019, Chanda obtained her Certified Paralegal Certificate from the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA). She has over 8 years of experience as a legal assistant/paralegal.
In her free time, Chanda enjoys spending time with her family, going to the gym, running, hiking, traveling, and catching up on Netflix shows.
Jerry, a Martindale-Hubbell AV rated lawyer for over 20 years, is a Certified Civil Trial Specialist (National Board of Trial Advocacy). He has been practicing law for 33 years and has been lead counsel in numerous trials that have gone to judgment or verdict, most of which have been jury trials.
Jerry was born, raised, and educated in North Dakota. After graduating from the University of North Dakota School of Law, he served as a law clerk for now Chief Justice Gerald VandeWalle at the North Dakota Supreme Court. From there, Jerry has focused his law practice on insurance defense - including the areas of personal injury liability, insurance coverage, bad faith, subrogation, construction and contract claims. He is a member of the State Bar Association of North Dakota, the Big Muddy Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Defense Research Institute.
Paul is a litigator and trial attorney. Paul's litigation practice focuses on insurance, oil and gas, personal injury, commercial, and construction litigation. His clients include insurance companies, oilfield service companies, contractors, and other individuals and businesses facing complex litigation. Paul represents clients in all stages of state and federal court proceedings. During his career, Paul has successfully tried numerous cases, both in federal and state courts. Paul is one of only fourteen attorneys in North Dakota that has achieved the status of a Certified Civil Trial Specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.
Paul also represents public utilities in North Dakota with both litigation and administrative regulatory proceedings. He has represented clients in numerous proceedings before the North Dakota Public Service Commission.
Paul has been practicing law since 2001. After graduating from the University of North Dakota School of Law with distinction, he served as a law clerk for Justice William Neumann of the North Dakota Supreme Court.
Ryan Joyce joined Evenson Sanderson in August of 2021. Ryan graduated from Gonzaga University School of Law in May of 2021. While in law school Ryan had the opportunity to work with numerous private firms and public interest non-profit organizations. Ryan is a member of the State Bar Association.
Prior to law school Ryan attended the University of Mary where he graduated with a degree in public policy which included minors in economics and biology. Ryan was born in Minot and grew up in Tioga. In addition to practicing law, Ryan enjoys hiking, camping, traveling, and playing and watching sports.
