Use this site to create high resolution European Union energy efficiency label images for appliances. The idea is to give the European consumer an easy way to compare the energy consumption and efficiency of products from different manufacturers. Not only that but, in some cases, it actually forces manufacturers into a higher efficiency future, encouranging competition. What consumer will buy a B class washing machine when there is an A+ class washing machine at nearly the same price?... The labels are mostly very immediate and understandable to all European consumers, much text has been removed (removing the need to translate the labels) and the class of each appliance is very clearly marked.
