Shobita C. DuBois joined Love, Fleming, Bearsch & Halloran, LLC in October, 2008, as Managing Attorney of the firm's Business Group. Ms. DuBois focuses her practice on business transactions, intellectual property, commercial and residential real estate and estate planning. Prior to working with the firm, Ms. Halloran worked in Carroll County representing clients in family law matters and criminal matters, and in Anne Arundel County representing victims of domestic violence. Ms. Halloran's practice areas include family law matters such as divorce, custody, child support, alimony, property disposition, and domestic violence. Ms. Halloran is a member of the Harford County Bar Association and a board member of the Harford County Chapter of the Women's Bar Association. Ms. Halloran is also on the board of the Bel Air Downtown Alliance. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children. Kimberly B. Fleming

Laura Bearsch is the former chairperson of the Harford County Judicial Nominating Commission (2007-2015). She is a member of the Maryland State and Harford County Bar Associations. Kimberly B. Fleming, a principal with the firm since 1999 and an attorney with the firm since 1993, received her law degree from the University of Baltimore in 1989 and has practiced law in Harford County since that time. Ms. Fleming was born and raised in Bel Air and graduated from Bel Air High School. Ms. Fleming's practice is concentrated in family law matters and includes divorce, custody, child support, alimony, property disposition, domestic violence/protective orders, and adoption. Ms. Fleming is the Past President of the Board of Harford County Bar Foundation, member of the Maryland State Bar Association, Harford County Bar Association, co-chair of the Harford County Bench/Bar Committee, member of the Harford County Bar Association Executive Committee, member of the Harford County Family Law Committee, member of the Harford County Chapter of the Women's Bar Association, member of the Chesapeake Professional Women's Network, treasurer and member of the board of trustees for the Harford Community Tennis Association and member of the Board of Homecoming Project. Ms. Fleming is a life-long tennis player and started a USTA league in Harford County nearly 10 years ago. She is currently the USTA coordinator for Harford County. Ms. Fleming has also been named a Maryland Super Lawyer yearly since 2016. The Super Lawyers publication recognizes attorneys across the nation who excel within the legal field and are well recognized by their peers. Each attorney selected must undergo a thorough selection process. Ms. Fleming's dedication to her clients and focus on family law make her an outstanding recipient of this award. When she is not diligently working, Ms. Fleming is active in competitive tennis and running and enjoys spending time with family, including her niece and nephews, Daniel, Abby and Sean. Laura V. Bearsch

Elissa K. Halloran, an associate with the firm since 2011, and partner since October 2022, received her undergraduate degree from Towson University in 2001 and her law degree from The University of Baltimore in 2005. She previously served on the Board of Trustees for Harford Day School, the Harford County Historic Preservation Commission, and the Friends of the Child Advocacy Center. Laura provided legal education to various groups and organizations, including the Harford County Office of Family Court Services and the Harford County Bar Association. She was twice named the Pro Bono Attorney of the Year for Harford County and in 2010, was named Harford County's Pro Bono Star by the Pro Bono Resource Center of Maryland and presented a Certificate of Congressional Recognition for that honor. Laura previously taught "What Women Need to Know in Divorce" at Anne Arundel Community College and "Gender and the Law" at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County ("UMBC"). She currently teaches Domestic Relations Law and Business Law at the University of Maryland and Stevenson College. After the unexpected passing of her father in April, Laura stepped back from actively practicing law to manage her family's business. She intends to resume her legal career in the form of family law mediation in the near future.
