Because GPlast™ components withstand a broad spectrum of chemicals and temperatures, they perform well in an array of applications, including: chemical and refining, biotechnology, oil and gas production, power generation, paints, lacquers, and adhesives, and FDA compliant applications... Costs less than Kalrez™ and Chemraz™ while offering comparable sealing capabilies... These materials provide excellent temperature resistance up to 500°F(260°C) and have similar chemical resistance to that of PTFE but with elastomeric properties comparable to standard fluorocarbon rubbers. Along with all our GPlast™ range, this grade is suitable for use in a wide range of applications where other polymers are not suitable.
