Dr. Heather Platt attended the University of Delaware where she received her bachelor's degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. She obtained her doctorate degree from the University of Medicine & Dentistry of NJ in 2011 and was selected to complete a General Dentistry Residency program at Overlook Medical Center, an affiliate of the renowned Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Dr. Platt joined Dr. John Nazzaro and his team in March of 2013. Working alongside Dr. Nazzaro for 11 years was an invaluable experience. Dr. Platt continues to be committed to maintaining the exceptional standards of care that our practice is known for. She keeps current with the latest advances in dental medicine by regularly attending continuing education courses and is an active member of the New Jersey Dental Association as well as the Middlesex County Dental Society. Over the years, she has used her gentle and caring chairside manner to build positive and trusting relationships with patients of all ages. Dr. Platt met her husband, Brian, while attending the University of Delaware. They live together in Hunterdon County with their two kids, Mackenzie and Carter. Dr. John Nazzaro established Advanced Family Dentistry of South Plainfield in August of 2011. Dr. Nazzaro provided the highest standard of care and treated his patients like friends. His dedication and loyalty will truly be missed.
