Ms Burke is a full-time Member of the Administrative Appeals Tribunal since 16 January 2017. She is a former Speaker of the Australian House of Representatives. As a member of the Australian Labor Party, Anna represented the Division of Chisholm, Victoria in the Australian House of Representatives from 1998 to 2016. After Labor's win at the 2007 federal election, she was elected as Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives. In 2012 she was nominated and elected, unopposed, the new Speaker of the House of Representatives. Prior to entering Parliament, Anna worked in Industrial Relations at the Finance Sector Union, Victoria University and VicRoads. On Australia Day 2019, Anna was awarded an Order of Australia for service to the Parliament and the Community. In 2022, Anna accepted the position of Chair Person of IBAS after Bill Noonan's retirement in July 2022.

Christopher C. Rowe MD is Director of Molecular Imaging Research and a consultant neurologist to the Memory Disorders Clinic, Austin Health, Melbourne. His research focus is imaging of neurodegenerative diseases, particularly Alzheimer's Disease, for better understanding, earlier more accurate detection, and to facilitate development of early therapeutic interventions. He is an international leader in this field and is on the 2016 Thomson-Reuters Highly Cited list of the top 1% or researchers world-wide based citations.
He received the 2011 US Society of Nuclear Medicine Kuhl-Lassen Award for Outstanding Contribution to Brain Imaging and the US 2015 Christopher Clarke Award for contributions to amyloid imaging. He is a member of the NIH/AA workgroup to define criteria for Preclinical AD and the International Workgroup to define prodromal AD.

David Berlowitz is a physiotherapist with the Victorian Respiratory Support Service who holds The University of Melbourne Chair in Physiotherapy at Austin Health. David was awarded his PhD in 2004, in which he discovered that acute cervical spinal cord injury results in sudden and severe obstructive sleep apnoea. David leads an international team of research collaborators, students and staff who examine the causes and treatments of sleep and breathing disorders in neuromuscular disease, especially in Spinal Cord Injury and Motor Neurone Disease. David has published more than 120 papers and attracted over $26 million in research funding support. David's other research interests include chronic disease management, registry development and program evaluation. David serves on the Boards of both the IBAS and the Spinal Research Institute.

Founding director of the Convenience Group, a public health agency, with three decades of experiences in international, national and community-based health interventions that seek to change and/or sustain positive health behaviours. Specialising in mental health, road safety, perinatal health, sexual health, bloodborne viruses, tobacco control, problem gambling, responsible service of alcohol, responsible service of cannabis, reducing drug-related harm, and workplace mental health. David is a founding Director of Diginostic which provides digital preventative health screening for chronic preventable diseases, pre and post-natal depression, mental wellness and maintenance.
David serves on the boards of Australian Smokefree Alternatives Consumer Association (ASACA), Victorian Association for the Care & Resettlement of Offenders (VACRO) and Institution of Breathing and Sleep (IBAS). Dr Catherine Hill is the senior respiratory physiotherapist and coordinator of the pulmonary rehabilitation program at Austin Health. She is also responsible for coordinating staff and student education in the Physiotherapy Department.
Catherine completed her PhD through the University of Melbourne in 2005 and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Physiotherapy through LaTrobe University in 1991.
She has expertise in pulmonary rehabilitation and exercise training for patients with chronic respiratory disease as well as acute physiotherapy management for patients with respiratory diseases.

Christian Osadnik is an IBAS Fellow who completed his major PhD study at Austin Health during 2010-2012 as an IBAS Student. He is a physiotherapist with a strong interest in the management of individuals with acute exacerbations of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
Christian is a Senior Lecturer within the Department of Physiotherapy at Monash University and a Research Fellow with Monash Lung and Sleep based at Monash Health, Clayton. He completed a European Respiratory Society Long-Term Post-doctoral Research Fellowship, based in Leuven, Belgium (2014-15) and is the current recipient of the Lung Foundation Australia / Boehringer Ingelheim COPD Research Fellowship recipient for 2016-18.
Christian is an editor with Cochrane Airways and member of Cochrane Airways Australia. He has previously held committee roles within the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand (TSANZ) including being a member of the Scientific Committee and former convenor of the Physiotherapy Special Interest Group.

Professor Louise Burrell is a clinician-scientist, Professor of Medicine, Head of Cardiovascular Research Group, University of Melbourne and an active clinician with senior leadership roles at Austin Health. She is a renowned national leader and recognised international expert in vascular health with particular expertise in ACE2, the receptor for COVID-19. She is involved in collaborative clinical research trials in patients with cardiovascular disease, as well as clinical trials studying new treatment approaches in COVID-19. She was awarded the Paul Korner Medal by the High Blood Pressure Research Council of Australia in 2019. She sits on a number of international Editorial Boards and has held executive roles with International Society of Hypertension including Vice-President and Treasurer.

Anne Holland is Professor of Physiotherapy at La Trobe University and Alfred Health. She leads a research program which aims to optimise the outcomes of pulmonary rehabilitation. This includes development of new models of pulmonary rehabilitation such as low-cost home-based rehabilitation and telerehabilitation, as well as defining the benefits of rehabilitation for new populations such as interstitial lung disease.

IBAS leads project to revolutionize Home Ventilation with $1.2 million grant for Assoc. Prof Mark Howard's research titled "Synchronise non-invasive ventilation at home".
Mark Howard is the Director of the Victorian Respiratory Support Service at Austin Health. He is a specialist physician in respiratory and sleep medicine with interests in long-term ventilation of patients with respiratory failure and the impact of sleep disorders on driving and occupational health and safety. He is Clinical Associate Professor at The University of Melbourne, Adjunct Associate Professor at Monash University and IBAS Lead in the Australian Sleep and Alertness Consortium.

Ms Notarianni was appointed to the IBAS Board of Directors in June 2017. Ms Notarianni is a Senior Associate lawyer at Maurice Blackburn Lawyers. She practices primarily assisting people who have been injured at work or on in motor vehicle accidents. In this work, she has represented many people where shift work and fatigue have been factors in the occurrence of an accident. She has been a legal volunteer with Goulburn Valley Community Legal Service and Hume Riverina Community Legal Service, undertaking work which benefits the people and community.
