JIM FRINK

Jim Frink is a versatile drummer based near Sacramento, CA with a strong background in jazz... Jim Frink is a drummer and drum teacher located in Davis, CA... Having been involved with music at an early age, Jim first began playing drums professionally in high school. Upon graduation, he received the Louis Armstrong Jazz Award and toured Japan with the Monterey Jazz Festival's Next Generation Jazz Orchestra. He studied music at UC Santa Cruz and has performed internationally in five countries. He is also a member of the collective jazz trio Triism (with Levi Saelua and Alex Reiff), which was awarded the Grand Prize in the 2016 Bucharest International Jazz Competition.
