Ke Kahua O Kūaliʻi organization has been rehabilitating, restoring, and cultivating 14-acres that is known as Palalupe and Pohakea, two 'ili along the great water of Kawainui. In this space, we strive to inspire our community to build lasting and caring relationships with our culture, each other, and the island we live on... We have temporarily paused our monthly community-volunteer opportunities on the third Sunday, we will update this website and our social media when we resume public events again... Ke Kahua O Kualiʻi is to inspire cultural and environmental wellness through land stewardship, education, and cultural practices. At Ke Kahua O Kualiʻi, we envision a sustainable Kauhale that fosters traditional land management practices and supports cultural practices for the well-being of community members and Kawainui-a traditional Hawaiian fishpond in the heart of Kailua, Oʻahu.
