Right on, fellas! I love summer. I love the person I become in the summer. There's no denying the effects of seasonality on one's mood, and summer is a real upper - I become happier, healthier and more active. But that's really just about having a more positive state of mind, isn't it? And if that's the case, then I should be able to control my state of mind. So, starting now, I'm going to be my summer self... I moved with my wife, Lea, from Iowa to Northern California in July 2007. We also lived in New York after graduation, but I always knew we'd be in California. Why? Well, it's a lot easier to be your summer self in Sunny California, for one thing! And the place is suitable to our common interests in nature and healthy, simple living. (We try to make it simple, anyway). And in May 2009, my brother, Jared, joined us!
