LIMA VAFADAR

Lima Vafadar was born in Tehran in 1985 and graduated with double degrees in Iranian Folklore Painting and Print Design from University of Applied Science of Tehran. She studied photography at the Mah-e-Mehr Art Institute with Dr. Hamid Severy, and she was privately trained by well-known contemporary Iranian photographers Shadi Ghadirian and Ali Nikpour. Vafadar's photographic works, "Alley," were the winner of competitions at Cafe Shuka and Iran's Artist House. Her photo series, "Desert of Mesr," have been published in Creative Photographer Magazine.
