MAYSVILLE PLAYERS

One of the most beloved groups that calls the Washington Opera House home is the Maysville Players. Founded in 1961, the Maysville Players is a community theater group that has been entertaining audiences for over 60 years. The group performs many shows each season, ranging from classic plays to contemporary dramas to musicals. The Players are a local non-profit 501c3 theatre troupe who have been able to sustain their presence with hard work and generous donations from others... The Maysville Players are committed to providing high-quality theater experiences for both performers and audience members. They welcome actors of all ages and skill levels, and offer training and support to help them grow and develop as artists. They also collaborate with other local organizations, such as schools and charities, to promote the arts and give back to the community.
