My passion for empowering people to regain and maintain their health can be traced back to childhood when my mother suffered a life-threatening illness and was subsequently prescribed a myriad of drugs. Tired of their debilitating side-effects she became interested in the healing power of nutrition and gradually weaned herself off the drugs and back to full health. From that point onwards, I was given a wholefood diet and experienced firsthand the positive effects that a diet rich in vitamins and minerals can provide. As an adult, my interest in nutrition and healthcare grew when my Indian mother-in-law introduced me to Ayurveda, teaching me about the qualities of different herbs and spices and how they interact with one another to affect our health. This sparked a deep regard for Eastern Medicine and its holistic approach to health and wellbeing that has stayed with me ever since...
