Out of the blue, I mailed the guitar to him just before Christmas. He had no clue and it was hard to keep my excitement a secret. He loves the new instrument's tone and vibe. Custom pickups, nitro finish, 60's style hardware, bone nut all copied from a 1962 original Stratocaster online that caught my eye. The designing and planning was so fun, I decided to make another guitar for myself!!!!... My new teaching space is ready to go!! After 9 years at another location it was time for a change. I love it so far and I have plans to keep improving the acoustics and functions of the space. I've also put my guitar setup bench in a corner for instrument repairs and maintenance. Guitar needs fixin? let's talk... This winter I built my first guitar amplifier! The model is a 59' Fender Tweed Deluxe 5E3 circuit. It is the grandfather to my vintage 65' Deluxe Reverb. Original Tweed Deluxe amps have been played by some of my favorite artists including Neil Young and Mike Campbell.
