Joshua was raised in Brenham, Texas, a small town in the Brazos Valley, and graduated from Brenham High School in 1991 before beginning studies at Sam Houston State University where he studied Political Science. Upon graduation with his Bachelor of Arts in 1995, Joshua entered law studies at the Baylor University School of Law. He was honored to obtain his Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1998 and has been providing litigation and transactional work since then.
Joshua is committed to standing up for the rights of the firm's clients and will work continuously to protect their best interests. With a focus on estate planning, guardianships, probate, real estate mediation, and business matters, the advice and assistance provided to clients is crucial for their lives and the welfare of their family members. Joshua is licensed in all Texas courts, as well as being licensed to practice in the United States Federal Courts in the Southern District of Texas. While the firm houses out of two physical locations, one in Bryan/College Station, the other on Lake Conroe, Joshua and Melissa are mobile and can meet at a place of convenience and comfort for clients.
Joshua has also worked in partnership with Blinn College as an adjunct faculty member and program coordinator. Other service includes advising and participation with the Down Syndrome Association of the Brazos Valley and The Arc of Texas, and he/Joshua is currently a member of the College Station ISD School Board.

Melissa is a fifth-generation Texan, born and raised in Montgomery County. She received her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University in Psychology and English. In 2012 she graduated with her Juris Doctorate from the South Texas College of Law and began practicing as an attorney.
At the core, Melissa understands that when people are seeking legal assistance and advice, they are seeking help. Whether an unexpected situation has arisen in their life or some complication has derailed plans, clients need honest and straightforward information and planning to make the best decisions for themselves or their family. For those reasons, Melissa and Joshua strive to operate with the highest level of integrity and ethics. When agreeing to represent a client and their needs, Melissa works to be available and to provide the communication they need to understand their unique situation.
In addition to the work done in the law offices, Joshua and Melissa have five children together and two grandchildren. She is committed to service in the community and is active with NAMI of Brazos Valley and Republican Women of the Brazos Valley, actively participates with the Down Syndrome Association of Brazos Valley, and is a member of the Texas Guardianship Association.
