2021 Algonquin Negotiation Representative Elections The 2021 ANR Elections for the nine Algonquin Communities of Antoine, Kijicho Manito Madaouskarini, Bonnechere, Greater Golden Lake, Mattawa/North Bay, Ottawa, Shabot Obaadjiwan, Snimikobi, and Whitney and Area will be governed by the 2021 ANR Election Process... On October 18, 2016, the Algonquins of Ontario and the Governments of Ontario and Canada reached a major milestone in their journey toward reconciliation and renewed relationships with the signing of the Agreement-in-Principle (AIP)... While our negotiations move forward, a number of very exciting initiatives are also taking shape to enhance and strengthen the Algonquin Presence across our Traditional Territory.
