Born in Amarillo Texas. Family moved to NY in highschool. Worked with Father purchasing and packing antiques and country furnishing and transporting to auction in Texas to meet the higher demand and prices in the Texas market. After attending college in Boston at Eastern Nazarene College returned to NY and opened used furniture store in the Bronx. That lead to opening of Braswell Galleries in Norwalk Ct. Which rapidly became one of the major auction Galleries in the NY metro area for over 25yrs. A combination of loosing the lease for the 80,000 sq ft facility rising cost and the declining market for antiques the large facility no longer was viable. Once again eyes moved South to the stronger Market and lower operating cost in the Atlanta Area. Peachtree Bennett opened it doors in Atlanta in 2011 originally establishing itself as a Auction Gallery selling select antiques and home furnishings.
